Blake J. Thompson, DMD
Dr. Blake Thompson grew up in Virginia Beach, VA. He moved to Tampa to attend the University of South Florida, where he graduated with a B.A. in Chemistry. He received his DMD from the Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine in 2001.
After his graduation, Dr. Thompson established the Haywood County Dental Clinic in the mountains of western North Carolina. Located in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, this community, non-profit clinic is a state-of-the-art facility. Dr. Thompson was the clinic director, and he helped provide those much-needed dental services to the underserved children and elderly in the area.
Dr. Thompson even served as an adjunct clinical instructor for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Dentistry. He was also an advisory board member of Head Start.
Dr. Thompson wanted to establish a comprehensive practice that focuses on general, cosmetic, and implant restorative dentistry, and he returned to Tampa in 2005 to bring his vision to life. He considers dentistry as much a hobby as a profession, and enjoys practicing all types of dentistry.
Dr. Thompson, his wife Tammy, and their two children Raegan and Cooper live in Tampa. He enjoys running, yoga, water sports, and playing guitar in his spare time.
